Governance
Skills Development Network (SDN) is an independent, not-for-profit organization registered in India. It advances workforce skilling, employability and job creation across India through AI-powered learning, workforce development, employer partnerships, government capability building and digital innovation.
SDN is governed by its Trustees, who provide strategic oversight and ensure that the organization operates in accordance with its Trust Deed, applicable laws and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day management is led by SDN’s Operational Leadership, which is responsible for executing the organization’s strategy and managing its operations.
SDN is responsible for its governance, partnerships, financial management, operations, program implementation, compliance and outcomes.
Funding
SDN receives funding and support from the Wadhwani Operating Foundation (WOF), the philanthropic funding organization within the broader Wadhwani Foundation ecosystem, to advance workforce skilling, employability and job creation across India.
This funding and support enables SDN to deliver charitable programs and initiatives aligned with its mission. SDN retains responsibility for its governance, financial management, operations, partnerships, program implementation, compliance and outcomes.
Through this model, SDN contributes to the broader mission of the Wadhwani Foundation of Creating Jobs. Changing Lives. while maintaining its own legal identity and governance.
